TITLE: Manager of Product Development COMPANY: Leading WEB-Enabled, PDM Software Company LOCATION: Headquarters SALARY RANGE: Base PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Overall
R&D responsibility for the complete set of shared engineering
products. Will lead and manage the
development staff to ensure the timely release of high quality, robust and customer
oriented products. Will work closely with field operations, management, and the
Board of Directors to drive and evolve the product direction. Functional responsibility for a development
team in Germany as well. Manage all domestic and international development
personnel. Coordinate development
requirements, both short and long term.
Ensure that the product consistently meets schedule requirements. Oversee product development including
monitoring of quality standards. .Ensure a responsive and proactive product
maintenance and defect resolution program.
Responsible for all aspects of product development and product release
including product documentation, technical training materials, as well a
maintenance of the computing and software development facilities. Ensure that product processes satisfy
requirements within the existing ISO. Work with field operations on technical
proposals, and significant opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Five years of experience in both developing and managing large-scale commercial engineering software projects is required. Knowledge of web oriented software practices, understanding of the Mechanical Design environment, experience in integrating outside sources of technology, and program architect skills are vital to the position. The candidate should have a strong record of accomplishment in the software or mechanical design industry, with substantial experience in at least second level supervision. Candidate must be knowledgeable in computer graphic user interfaces. Candidate must have at least an MS in Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or Computer Science. R&d 17398(NEW) TITLE: Senior Software Engineer (Programmer Level III) COMPANY: Technology Consulting Firm LOCATION: Schaumburg, IL SALARY RANGE: Base/Bonus PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Key team member responsible for porting and enhancing the Windows NT versions of Client’s implementations. Coordinate technical and support requests with sales and development staff. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years experience designing and implementing CAD/CAM, scientific or engineering software. Knowledge of PRO/E basics and PRO/TOOLKIT, WEB technologies, thorough knowledge of Visual C++ 2.2 or 4.0, MFC, WIN32, GUI Design and Object Oriented concepts. Good JAVA, C, C++ programming skills. Knowledge of Symantec Café` GUI Modeling, Oracle 8 as it relates to PDM Systems and Oracle SQL, PL/SQL. Experience integrating 3D graphics (OpenGL or PHIGS) in Windows applications is desirable. BS in Computer Science or equivalent required.
