TITLE:                       Vice President of Marketing

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Develop Marketing plan including advertising, promotional events and shows, direct mail campaigns, seminars, public relations, collaterals, and aggressive equipment programs. Collaborate with Executive Management team on the business plan for market penetration. Present market analysis of the products for the US market to Executive Management team. Produce and implement advertising and marketing communications campaign to increase industry presence. Plan for prioritizing and allocating resources to generate market awareness, and create demand for, products and services, through the company’s partners, channels and direct sales.  Prepare forecasts and market sizing in order to establish the potential for new markets; conduct pertinent market surveys and market share data analysis.  Direct and manage all marketing activities, including the development and implementation of the strategic marketing and business plans. Setup strategic alliances and partners within the manufacturing and consumer products industry. Establish joint marketing activities with application partners, hardware manufacturers, and systems integrators, in order to provide a complete solutions offering to the Company’s customers - worldwide. Oversee the design of marketing and sales collateral material for demo techniques, VARs, and trade shows.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  10-15 years experience in at least one of the following industry markets: CAD/CAM, PDM, CAE or engineering solutions.  Prior experience with a start up company preferred.

Strong consulting, business development experience or demonstrated success in developing strategic relationships. Experience with new, emerging companies and technologies.

 

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a computer, business or technical discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
